O Caledonia

Postby Bronagh » Thu Sep 11, 2008 4:03 pm

I wrote this a while ago, with help from some of our faction bards, when it seemed to be only talking about the past. I've now changed it slightly more, as its subject matter is a little more current;

O Caledonia
(to 'Flower of Caledonia' - with ooc apologies to real-lfe scots!)

O Caledonia
When will we see
The like again,
That fought and died for
Your wee bit hill and glen
And stood against them,
The formori army
And sent them homeward,
Tae think again.

Those days are past now,
And in the past
They must remain.
But we can still rise now
And be the nation again
And stand against them,
The formori army,
And send them homeward
Tae think again.
