I  have been asked to write a few words on how Caledonia is structured and governed under the rule of our Laird General.

Since the Queens handed the burden of governing Caledonia to the Lairds in 1102 several councils have been put in place to provide advice for those in charge.

I will briefly detail the role of the Lairds and Councils within these pages.
