Thanes

There is one appointed Thane per Caledonia army and navy.  It is the responsibility of each thane to train and lead their troops during times of war.

At the gatherings of factions they act on the orders of the War Leader.  On the field they are responsible for executing the War Leaders battle plans and assisting to command the troops from the front line.
