Ard Inquisitor (Lairds Aide)
Duic Torrellan Mortain

Aide to the Laird Provost, the Ard Inquisitor carries out very specific duties which remain somewhat of a mystery to the faction in general. He assists the Laird Provost with his work and acts as a filter for information.

Cain Prac (Lairds Aide)
Feargus McYokel

The faction Cain Prac assists the Laird Provost with the completion and distribution of Rank deeds throughout the faction.

 He is also responsible for the factions finances and has full access to the faction bank account. It is his duty to collect Tribute from the clans and deposit this in the faction account.

Because of the risk this role carries to corruption, the Cain Prac will be asked to wear a Geas bracer as part of his role, to ensure he does not get tempted to steal.

Cathraic
Oaken

The Cathraic is the faction Master of Ceremonies.

He is responsible for organising and running faction musters, chairing the Clan Council and other such duties.

It is his job to ensure these meetings run as smoothly as possible and has full jurisdiction to make this happed, including silencing speakers and ejecting hecklers.

Ard Ritualist
Grog MacFinn

It is the responsibility of the Ard Ritualist to co-ordinate all ritual activity within the faction. He is to organise all ritualists and contributors, lending aide and guidance to all to ensure the faction rituals achieve the optimum results.

The Ard Ritualist sifts through all ritual ideas given to him by the people of Caledonia and selects which rituals will be performed by whom in the coming year.

Only the ruling Lairds can veto this decision. The Ard Ritualist is responsible for ensuring that all ritual paperwork is completed and handed to the mages guild within good time.

Deputy Ard Ritualist

The Deputy Ard Ritualist is responsible for carrying out all of the duties of the Ard Ritualist in his absence.

The Deputy should be available to advise and guide all faction ritualists.

Chamberlain of the Clans
Johnnie Walker McMead

The Chamberlain of the Clans is the only non-Laird to sit on the Lairds Privy Council and is the only person to sit on both the Lairds Council and Chieftains Councils.

The Chamberlain is voted for by the Chieftains at the Clan Council every year and acts as the peoples representative to faction command.

The duties of the Chamberlain are two-fold: Firstly, the Chamberlain should act as the first point of escalation for any clan issues or disputes. The Chamberlain should attempt to sit all parties down and achieve a peaceful resolution to any issues. If the issue cannot be resolved to both parties satisfaction, the Chamberlain should pass the issue on to the Laochs or Lairds, along with her own opinions.

Secondly, the Chamberlain calls the Chieftains (sometimes known as Elders) Councils to discuss any issues raised in the Laird Privy Council which the Lairds wish to be discussed, and to take concerns and issues from the people to the Lairds.

Faction Librarian

The role of Librarian is a relatively new one.

They are responsible for the Great Library in Gartness which holds all of the ancient lore of the faction. It is also their responsibility to add to the library, collecting any scrolls and tomes which are discovered and cataloguing them for future reference.

The Librarian has control over who has access to the Library.
