There are three ruling Lairds of Caledonia. The duty of these Lairds is to lead the Bears nation on behalf of the Queens. 

Laird General
Jander Kai MacEmily

Jander stepped up to the Laird General position after the Laird Protector, Obidask MacTrew was assassinated at the Gathering of Nations 1107.  He was previously the Laird Arcane.

The Laird General leads the Bears nation.

He has the ultimate responsibility to the Queens for the Faction and the final decision on all issues are his.

Laird Provost
Cedric d'Vanion

Laird Cedric came to Caledonia from Albion in 1102.

He worked his way up in the faction starting at Faction Librarian and taking on the title of Foreign Minister for a time.

He was a very close friend of Laird Obidask and was appointed as Laird Provost in 1104 to assist Obidask with the rebuilding of the faction.

The role of the Laird Provost is to run the nation of Caledonia. He is responsible for the allocation of lands, distribution of titles, faction structure and also has the non ruling Lairds reporting into him directly. Cedric has also brought a more sinister edge to the role, but nobody really talks about his darker responsibilities.

Laird Consul
Conall Mac Aedan

Laird Conall is the newest of the ruling Lairds.

The Laird Consul has the responsibility for all external dealings with any group outside of the Bears faction. Both the Faction Guildmaster and High Ambassador report directly to him and it is his job to ratify major decisions they wish to make, or bring them to the rest of the Privy if he deems it necessary.
